am i missing something? im trying to remove my current alt to install a na alt for ms. the bottom bolt seems like its backwards, it doesnt come out toward the front it is coming out toward the back and hits a bracket that looks like it supports the engine.

is there a special way to remove this bolt or did po install it backwards?

 

The bracket it hits is a support bra e for the intake manifold. I believe it is 3 bolts. Pull that off and then the alternator bolt will come out easily.

 

got it, swapped out alternators now moving on to ecu and vac lines
