16s are not too lean for the car to idle well.

Every time someone posts "My idle is rock solid at 13.0:1", God kills a kitten.
Think before you tune.
so what you're saying is that idling at 16:1 is a GOOD IDEA?

yes, its a good way to save gas. 16 to one is a bit on the high side, but 15.5 is about what I would aim for. (usually stoich on the initial tune)
The engine is under an extremely small amount of load, and a lean AFR will not cause any detonation or overheating or anything.

The only reason I would go any richer would be if the idle was hard to get stable, but thats usually not the case. It just takes well tuned fuels, ignition, and IAC settings.
You cant just lean it out and expect it to idle right

I idle at low 15's but i assure you that little aluminum turdlets didn't mess up your engine. Wait, you just put in an IAT? Did you just eliminate the maf? Did you reload firmware?

your welcome.

But seriously, if its a loose connection it will come back. I didn't do the pins right on one of the connectors for my coils, and every once of a while I would be driving and all of a sudden I was running on 3 cylinders. It was not safe lol.
