dude if you get that and nookie it'l be a good aniversary. Did she give you other options to suspension or FI? Maybe she will pay the garage and tow bill? Its worth a shot.

Those are nice light/inexpensive wheels if you are NA, but since you are going turbo, I'd recommend something slightly wider than 6.5" so you can fit a wider tire for more traction later on.

Nice offer by the GF regardless.

I say get suspension before wheels. You can put decent rubber on stock wheels and suspension will have more of a wow factor than just new wheels.

I have no idea what to get her, mine is coming up as well.

I'm going through the cheap suspension dilemma right now. I don't want to spend the money to get something kickass, but I also always try to do it once and do it right. So i'm torn on what to do.
You can get KYB AGX for like 350 shipped on ebay FWIW and ebay coils with sleeves are $50 shipped.

Granted I know shocks will be a bigger bang for the buck (especially if you are running high milage blown stockers), but instead of skimping on shocks/springs now, why not do other suspension/chassis stuff like the FM butterfly brace or front/rear adjustable sways that fits into a lower budget and save up for a better suspension later?

they are pretty high from FCM, but he does a great job of revalving them.

I've heard good things just about the HDs....and you could always revalve them later if you chose to go to stiffer springs. I've ridden in a car with them, but never driven on them. Comfortable, decent handling, and they are decently priced for what you get...I still like my Konis though.

I like my OE spec bilsteins they where about 450 or so from my local autozone. I think they would do alot for you or get the AGX shocks from moss. If you feel that the wonderfull world of WI is for you then that is a wonderfull thing ot get as well but, the suspension can be enjoyed now and in the future as well. The WI will have to wait until you fully install the turbo. And on stock rubber and suspension i doubt you can put down even 140 or so whp reliably.
On the GF dift area, Flowers are nice, a decent string of pearls on a bracelet or necklace say romantic but not wedding. A candle lit dinner for 2 is cool as well. OR if she is kinky you can get her some toys .
