Default **** it im cuttin the hood!

Came out ok I guess. Unfortunately the paint cracked so the hood will need to be repainted. I still need to fold up the front edge. Should I get the sides of the openings sealed up? This was one of Scott's 1st ideas.

If you bend up the leading edges and seal the sides, you'll get what you want out of it - no doubt.

since you have to have it resprayerd, just go ahead and get some fiberglass and shape a lip, i think that would look great once painted...

Scott, make which part a tag longer.

whaaaaa, that sounds like a good idea, but I have never worked with fiberglass, so I would have no idea what I would be doing.

I'd use body filler, you can get cans at advanced, mix the hardner, slap it on and shape, get it close then sand it the **** out of it.

look at my pic. you can see where you drew the line and i extended it a few inches.

dont cut any of it yet...build the lip first and then once you are onto isolating the sides under the hood, then decide how much to cut off, i wouldnt cut off too much, you want some of that depth

I wonder if I can get away with doing mine as one vent, wider, but shorter so it doesn't interfere with the roundness of the hump?
