Smile Anyone have pics of the oil squirter cut outs on pistons?

I just found out that I will need to have my Wiesco pistons modified to hit my BP block that has oil squirters.

I found a thread in DIY that had a pic of what I needed but since I am a newb here I cant send a PM to the buy that took it. I know that Flyin Miata does the cut out but I need to get as much info as possible so that my schop can do the cut outs.

Thanks in advance

Shane

uh the oil squirters screw onto the block so long as your piston skirt doesn't travel to far down vs stock i didn't think you would have a problem I dunno if mine was modified or not but i had no clearance issues on my 1.6

i know the stock pistons need to be rotated the correct way or the squirter tips will fall off. I know because i screwed this up when i first put my motor together the first time ... rotated the crank a bit, a little resistance, and *tink* the tips hit the ground. I would think that a bit of massaging with a dremmel and a grinding wheel would fix any interference with no detrement so long as you went no further than a centemeter beyond where you needed to go for clearance.

Call Wiseco and have them rework it to cut the piston notches. I design pistons for JE and we already know what needs to be notched once we get the order. It surprises me that Wiseco did not do it since all BPs have oil squirters, unless when you ordered the pistons you told them specifically not to notch it.
