Default Anyone here running an aftermarket OEM style fender?

Specifically the Sherman branded ones that rockauto sells? I'm having a hard time finding a used one that's not damaged. I'm just worried they may not be exactly the same as the OEM original one.

I bought a painted fender from ebay vendor aircardcorp, however the brand they used was Keystone.
$345 is kinda steep but fitment was perfect & their paint quality is excellent.

Yeah.. I kind of dropped the engine/trans directly on the fender.
Solo engine swaps on uneven surfaces FTL.

Malahat auto wrecker on Vancouver Island has like 7 miata's, and I think most of their fenders are alright. Shipping wouldn't be too bad since it's going to Vancouver:

Ooh, thanks for the tip. All the local wreckers have no fenders left.

We started using Rock Autos fenders early this year at work, they seem to fit just fine. Mazda fenders end up dinged, bashed, twisted, and bent by the time you get them anyways.

Do you use the cheaper or more expensive ones? One is "various manufacturer" and the other is the "sherman" brand.

I have a Rockauto fender. It is identical stock, including the dimpled surface below the accent line. The part is packaged pretty well, and mine came without damage. Alignment was perfect except along the hood, easy fix though. Pictures:

Which rock fender was it? The 90$ one or the $120 one.

Uh idk it was a couple years ago. It was the cheapest one they had at the time, ~$100 w/o shipping. They both look the same in the picture, but idk sorry.

My experience would be with the cheaper fenders I think. No texture on the bottoms.
