Default Anyone tried KEMSO fuel pumps?

Friend of mine got one of these for his turbo miata. I'm worried about overloading the fpr etc.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/KEMSO-340LP...IAAOSwAYtc54QD

Has anyone used one? Why should/shouldn't one get one?

I mean, it looks like cheap ebay junk. Buy once, cry once. Get a reputable pump off the bat and don't chase fueling issues and dead pumps.

It's a Japanese pump with lifetime warranty and with relatively good reviews on the net.

I'm more worried about its specs and whether the car will need more than a retune or not

Flow: 340 Liter per Hour, at 43psi, 13.5V
Operational Pressure: 43-90psi

End goal is maxed out stock 1.8

They've been on ebay for years, if they were good, everyone would use them since they're 1/3-1/5 the price of the name brand ones. You asked for an opinion, I gave you mine, but it sounds more like you wanted me to confirm the choice you've already made. You do you, let us know if it holds up.

Haven't made my mind up yet. More worried about the specs than reliability though. If I had made my mind up I'd have already ordered it. Open to input and opinions

What do you mean by a "maxed out stock 1.8"? Why do you think you will need that much flow?

Your stock fuel pump can max out your bp.

Will this cheap ebay part work well? Type of questions dont fly too well here.

Stock internals 1.8 vvt, ran by a ms3 mini, flow force 660cc injectors, 6speed, 2871 churbo, electronic boost control valve, 2.75" exhaust. That's the plan.

Looking to reach close to the limit of the stock internals, around 250 wheel horsepower.

Why bother? Unless your OEM pump is dead and even then I’d just replace it with another OEM for that build level.

Thought I'd run into fueling issues, recalled reading that at around 240hp it's starting to not suffice. In that case, sticking with it unless I run into lean conditions.

Send it. Just make sure to document it, lead by example.

Not like a dw300 costs a lot. Why go cheap when the good one is cheap.
