Default Best Miata engine builder?

I have been looking around for a good reputable shop that knows the miata motor well so I can have them build me a street/drag motor built for boost. I've done some research and found plenty of spec motor builders but not too many boost ready builders. I know flyin' Miata is out there but frankly they are a little out of what I am looking to spend.

I found these guys that seem reasonably priced.

Racing Mazda
http://www.racingmazda.com/miata_engine.htm

Has anyone had anyone experience with them?

Also I've heard good things about:

Stewart engines in Indianapolis, IN
http://www.smart-series.com/pages/stewart.php

And

Rebello Racing
http://www.rebelloracing.com/

Has anyone had experience with them as well or have any preference on anyone else?

I would build the motor myself but I am inexperienced with motor building and just don't want to take chances.

Again, I am looking for a complete motor builder. Block and head for a decent price, good service, and reliability. I hope I am not asking for too much.

Appreciate it,
Sam

Day Custom Engines

I think Racing Mazda uses Brian Stoid and you don't want that guys crook-work.

I would either go through Savington@TSE or BogusSVO or Renown Performance.

I mean I did not even realize that Racing Mazda was even still around. I have not heard anything from or about them in years.

Just too a gander at the website, the price and parts list on the built motor look very appealing! I'm surprised why I haven't heard of Trackspeed up till now.
Should be hearing from me soon.

Stay away from Stewart Engines. If you ask them to build an engine for any purpose other than Spec racing, they're all likely to fall on the floor and die in a siezure induced rage. If you aren't calling them weekly, your engine is more likely to rust than get built, and when they did finally get around to rebuilding my engine, they royally screwed up in at least a dozen significant areas; most notably the oil pump, which didn't pump oil.

End result - shitty service, unprofessional results, FM level price point. Stay the ---- away.

New-ish company. If I didn't have such a great machinist close to me I'd buy from Savingaids.

Call Trackspeed, I trust Andrew Kidd with my money. Even my phone chooses him to autodial and no one else.

I'm a satisfied Trackspeed costumer. Built my motor amongst other things, they stand behind their product. They also accept my phone calls and answer my stupid questions, no complaints.

I love trackspeed, always been helpful with questions even with the small amount i order from them. Probably going with renown due to location. Nothing personal to Savington, love ya,but shipping to Cali from the south is expensive. That said trusting the person that does work for you is priceless if you have the funds. Cheap means crappy service and worse quality.
