Seraph, I can hook you up with my inspection station, but, to settle your fears, MA(sshole-chusetts) does not test cars older than 10 years old for emissions. So, no smog check.
Just make sure that it doesn't smoke (My DSM would puff smoke (busted turbo), and, it failed).

Besides, like JGard said, you can always go for inspection, and, even if you fail, you still have 60 days to "fixee"
