Another steering wheel install
Hey all,
First post here and thought I would share my steering wheel install. Everywhere I read talked about modifying the clockspring connector so that it would touch the horn ring, or fit just underneath it or something of that sort. Instead I did this:
Cut the connector from the clockspring:
Go down to where the clockspring connects at the other end and solder the ground wire to one of the unused airbag wires.
Strip the two wires on the steering wheel side of the clockspring:
Solder/Crimp some connectors on:
Pull the horn ring off the hub adapter (or cut a hole in it):
Hook up the quick release (or steering wheel):
Final Product:
Thanks for checking it out! Hope this helps someone out.
**Bonus picture of my new wheels i got yesterday
