if you run blue or black hawks, its going to shred your rotors before the pads. If they don't get into their designated heat range, you're wasting your money. Get a set of dustless street pads, then a set of track pads. I will probably go this direction when I get the turbo bits.

I have HP+ for the track and street when I forget to swap back to stock pads. Mine don't make any noise at all. They stop very well too. I will switch to Blues next season though.

FWIW, i'm running Axxis Ultimates daily, they were $85 shipped i think for front and rear on ebay from a seller who has them frequently listed. They're a good daily pad, alot more bite than OEM and they cost just a little more.

This car is being built stricly for track purposes. Stop saying Axxis!!!!! I need brakes to stop me at 120mph.

I say axxis for people who pussyfoot their car around as a DD with maybe an autocross here and there. They're cheap and better than stock, only reason i run them for now.

Oh okay I got you. Ya I agree definately a good choice when you have DD in mind. As far as tracking.. i'm confused. Looks like Blue's are more for auto xing as they are low speed medium speed pads.

Good pads Porterfield R4 for the track, R4S for street. Quiet, do not wear the rotors. I haven't tried Hawks.
at FM http://www.flyinmiata.com/index.php?dept=14

I have the sport suspension

I've never said anything about those pads, and know nothing about them.

I know slotted rotors have a bad name, but for me they helped braking when it's raining.
