Default brightest h4 bulb?

I have my Cibie housings and was curious what the brightest bulb I can use, legal or otherwise?

I want to say something like Phillips Vision Plus' that are only sold in the UK? I'll have to find the link later on.

H4s are legal period in a car in the US.

I thought there are some bulbs that are not "legal" for street use, or was it that they get too hot for the housings? I can't remember, lol!!

its because those stupid 120 watt bulbs burn the housings, yeah.
I just got a $70 ebay HID kit and was done with it, i genuinely wonder when I'm in other ppl's cars as to whether or not they ACTUALLY have their headlights on or not

I'll check to see if mine are the 85/55 watt bulbs, I think that is as hot as most suggest.

I'm pretty sure I'm running 80/100w, and they have given me no problems. I still wish I had HID's though.

hid for the win..... ive had a set in every car ive owned, and will never ever own a car without them

the miata being no exception, bought ebay crap housing for 50 dollars, and ebay hid for 70
car blinds truck drivers, cooks small animals, and gives free tans
