Default British Company BEGi...err...BBR announces 20th Anniversary 220bhp MX5

Thought you guys might be interested to see this. British company BBR have announced they're selling 'refurbed' 220bhp MX5's in any colour you like, backed by a warranty and including the car for £7,500 ($11,700).

Looks like a nice way for the non DIYer to get a fun, reliable and exciting car.

I should start selling BEGi kits and stamping them with my logo too. Then argue that I've been making the most popular turbo kit in the USA since 1990.

HA! Seems like a pretty good deal for a fully sorted mint miata though...shipping might be a little pricey though.

RHD sure cleans up the left side of the engine bay a lot!

Can you confirm they're BEGI kits? Thats interesting. It's good all the same you can go out and just BUY a pre-turbo'd MX5 with warranty etc for the non-DIYer.

I mean look at it.

Same heat shield, same manifold, same cold air box, similar descriptions, same IC routing, same AFM mounting on cold air box, same sub-par heater core exit to upper radiator hose...

If that were for sale in the US, it wouldn't be all that bad of a deal if they've really done a good refurbishing job, fresh paint/body work, new OEM parts etc...

I hope it comes with your mom.

Seems like a half decent deal, but I really can't see them selling very many of them. Too many people are afraid of modified cars.
