...so these were in a box of parts that went with our 91 Miata we bought with interior removed due to 'spec miata project' We got a bunch of parts that were removed along with a bunch of aftermarket parts not yet installed.

Everything was pretty obvious and put to use BUT

.....we just cannot for the life of us figure out what they are meant to do in our NA miata...

These appear aftermarket and purpose built.. but for what?

Are they even for a Miata is the big question? What the heck are they and what do they do?

Are those bolts or cap screws?

Some kind of bumper cover support (I guess if you had removed all the Styrofoam inner parts)?
