Cappuccino wiper bottle source (low cost)

Just thought I'd share this link to a thread on M.net in case anyone is interested in a low cost source for one of those Suzuki Cappuccino wiper bottles (for in cowl setups).

MX-5 Miata Forum - View Single Post - $35 washer bottle relocation

I can attest that the source listed is indeed legit. For <$39, I got genuine goods back from Japan within 2 weeks, which included a back-order delay of over a week. Certainly not the cheapest solution to a wiper bottle relocation, but it is a nice and neat one.

[Just placed an order. 25$ shipped to iceland. We'll see if this is legit

OneTwo 01-11-2016 06:00 PM

Its legit! I ordered mine off Rakuten too about 2 weeks ago. Took about a week and a half to show up, but its here and installed.

I always thought it was fucked that a washer bottle could cost 130$. It's just a question of finding a source that's unaware of the market

Itty 01-11-2016 06:38 PM

Oooh, this is great news. I can finally get my washer bottle out from the terrible front-of-the-wheel-well location.

The shipping label on the mailer package I received said total package weight was 320g, which is just about 11.3 ounces. It's light as a feather.

EErockMiata 01-12-2016 10:04 AM

creon 01-12-2016 10:11 AM

do you get a tracking number?
also orderd one today

rwyatt365 01-12-2016 10:52 AM

It's a multi-step process;
- First you order
- Then you get an email confirming the order - that's when you pay (via PayPal)
- Wait about 24hr to get another email (in Japanese) w/ a tracking number
- Then use this site (https://www.post.japanpost.jp/int/em.../index_en.html) to get tracking info

Roda 01-12-2016 10:58 AM

Thanks for posting this!

Always wanted to do this but thought the price was absurd. Ordered one this morning.

EErockMiata 01-12-2016 11:32 AM

they provide an ems tracking number. I ordered a week ago and it's showing as out for delivery today. EMS ships to USPS and USPS makes the final delivery.

My thoughts exactly. It always seemed like the most elegant solution to the bottle problem, but there was no way I would ever cough up that kind of money for it. When I saw these for such a (relatively) low price, I figured, what have I got to lose; go for it.

Not that I expect any problems, but everyone I've seen so far has used PayPal, so please post back if you do encounter any problems when using credit card.

Is there anybody else out there that has received their bottle and that used a credit card for their payment? It would be nice to know.

Roda 01-12-2016 12:51 PM

I used a CC, but I haven't received the "shipping quote" email yet... I'll advise how it goes...

cyotani 01-12-2016 01:00 PM

I guess I'm in for one too. All the cool kids are doing it.
