Ok, so that shouldn't be the problem then. I just wondered if there was a mix up in the shopping cart and so the order got messed up, but that's apparently not your case.

One of the other reasons mentioned is something about a "payment deadline". SO now I'm wondering if there was a delay for some reason that allowed the credit card authorization to time out.

I don't know what to tell you. Maybe wait a bit more and see if they send you another email which may help more.

Have you checked to see if your credit card was actually charged yet?

Placed a new order, see if i get 4 :-)

Placed an order for two on Tuesday after seeing this thread, paid by paypal. Email received overnight that they are being shipped by airplane.

Mine showed up yesterday but the usps guy didn't leave it at my door. I had to go pick it up today at the post office but everything is totally fine with it.

Are you responding to the link (to paypal) in the email that Suzuki Motors sends (about a day after placing order at Rakuten), or from somewhere else?

Well, I just ordered a couple to see if that will save some shipping. I will buy a second Miata one day so I might as well.

On another note, in the order comments box, I used google translate to tell them "Please include delicious pickles and other snacks" in Japanese.

We will see what happens when I get the package.

SO, just a heads up for anyone using the EMS Tracking and seeing an unusual amount of time on the U.S. domestic front (after clearing Customs).

USPS has been serving this last leg of the delivery process on these, and for one unfortunate buyer over on M.net there were (apparently) some foreign language issues (??). It seems the address order on his package was jumbled around. It had all the right info, but the city, state, and zip came after his name (where the street should have been), followed by the street name below that. Of course USPS's knee jerk response was simply: "Invalid Address- Return to Sender.

In his case, he may have been able to catch it in the queue before it shipped back out. It definitely pays to watch the tracking on these.

They sent me the tracking # yesterday.

Anyone know how to actually track this?

I got the email with the tracking #, but the EMS website has no tracking information for this.
