Is the center exit exhaust better, performance wise ? Pipe bendings must slow down exhaust gasses ?
Please,share your on this.
P.S. Discussion is about turbocharged cars ONLY.

What difference does it make on form of power adder?

The only reason I could think of a reason for the center outlet is for aesthetic reasons only.

Left exit exhaust would technically be the best, but the difference between that and a right exit would not ever, ever, ever be felt.

It's supposed to eliminate some turns, but you still need to turn towards the center, and then turn towards the bumper.

Technically, if you want less bends, you'll put it between the passenger side and center, directly aft of where it exits by the diff.

Five inch turn down. Or turn up out of hood.

Now go kill yourself cus you will never make more than 300hp.

I built a center exit exhaust to keep forces around my diffuser symmetrical side to side.

But seriously, no, a center exit exhaust will not gain you more spool. lol

If you want spool, make your engine bigger, run a 4" exhaust, keep charge pipes short, get a good flowing IM, run a turbo with ball bearing/billit/titanium wheels, get a V8, run anti-lag, run a small turbo, get a sewing machine. Thats all I got.
