On a local forum a guy is selling a chassis brace he calls it. it goes from the seatbelt to seatbelt location behind the headrest of the seats. DOes anyone have one of these or know if its worth a couple bucks to buy it? Does it help with handling at all??

 

is it the stock brace that came standard in the '94 and later models? it seems to stiffen up the chassis a bit, so if the price is right, I'd go for it

 

IT is just a seatbelt tower brace stock on all 1.8 miatas. It was put there to help offset side impact crashtests. It does little if nothing to help and i wouldn't give more than 4-54 for it.
