iv tried to bleed my clutch this morning and O Boy that was fun..it wasn't working.. my clutch master and slave were in working condition that came off my other miata but they both sat for like 5 months with fluid..this is a 90 miata ..
so i pumped the clutch 5 times then released the bleeder and everything was good fluid and air shot out.. so i pumped another 5 times and then released the bleeder again but this time nothing happens no air or fluid ..i gave it a brake and started doing a few other things then went back to it and the same thing happned so then i took the clutch line off the clutch master and pumped the clutch..fluid shoots out but it seems like its not enough like there a internal leak and its not holding pressure ..so do you think a repair kit will fix this leak for $23.17 or buy the hole assembly for $88.??

 

I rebuilt my master when it went out. Napa sold the kit for less than $20, pretty sure it was around $15.
If the master has failed, many people recommend to not rebuild it. I know you can get one cheaper than $88 if you decide to get a complete unit.

Rebuild kit should do it. I just rebuilt mine, open the bleeder and let the system sit for a while to let it gravity bleed, then top it off and rebleed with the pedal. That helps get the air bubbles out. After pumping for a while, take a break and let the bubbles still trapped to congeal into larger bubbles, makes it easier to get all the air out.
