Default Computer codes

OK, so in my vast quest to get the miata running good, I have found the following codes in the computer: 8=airflow meter; 10=intake air thermistor; 34=idle air control. From the m.net garage, I got these translations for the codes. For the code 34, it says that the code is for the 1.8L. Just confused as to why a 1.8L code would be popping up for a 92 1.6L. Any suggestions or comments would be greatly appreciated. Also, if you guys have any of these parts just lying around, please tell me and I will buy them off of you. They cost way too much new and I really want to get it running good before I go to install the greddy. Thanks Steve.

OK, so I just went out there and pulled the afm off the car, used some carb cleaner, blew some low pressure air through the passages and the little **** thing sticking down at the inlet, and that cleared the 8 and 10 codes. So, the only code that is flashing now is 34. Can you guys give me any help. Also, I only let the car run for about 3mins, just enough to get it up to temp, would the comp. catch the afm being bad right off the bat, or would it take longer to run a full diagnostic on it. Thanks for any input guys, Steve
