OK, haven't been able to track down the actual connector, but that plug appears to be the same as the 2003 Protege blower/fan switch, which seems to be quite melty. Just Google for "2003 mazda protege blower switch connector" and you'll see a number of posts from people having trouble with it, and image search will show a bunch of melted ones.

How can you post three pics without one of the actual connector end?

Help!! Trying to simplify the harness and ran into a plug in a 1997 that sits at the ECU and it has Violet, Red/Blue, black/blue.

Looks like an O2 sensor but the wiring diagram shows 4th wire Blk Yellow. I only have 3 pins on this plug and it's joined to the 2 ECU connectors - Violet on last bottom pin of a large connector and red blue and black blue on a small connector. Any ideas ?

That white connector looks nothing like an O2 sensor connector.

What do you think this connector relates to?

you sure it's not the rear o2?

it should have 4 wires:

vio
red/blu
blk/blue
blk/yel

got three out of four right there and it looks cut/taped.

I think the blk/yellow is the power source for the sensor. that's not the actual plug for the sensor, so the other wire could be introduced somewhere else at the actual connector. The wiring diagram shows that wire powers a few other things, so possible it's not coming directly to that sensor via the ecu. I think that's the plug that's under the drivers seat?

I really thought it was according to the 3 colors. It's Violet, Red Blue and black blue.
The rear O2 seems to have the correct colors in the Mellens wiring schematic. However the 4th wire on the schematic is not at the plug. Maybe the wiring diagram shows the O2 side and mazda could have run the yellow wire separately and I have likely already took it out on the door jamb side where the wiring for speakers and belt tensioners was already removed. Thanks all!! Appreciate the feedback.

Semi-related, but not "connector": I'm looking for some 20 AWG multi-conductor wire for a wideband install. 4- and 6-conductor, probably about 5' of each. Anyone know a cheap online source that sells by the foot?
