Hey guys, I have a 2004 msm running megasquirt, id 1050, fm big spark kit, mazda protege 36-1 trigger wheel, ebay Ic, fm intake, catted downpipe. I might be moving back to Pa. Would the stock ecu work with the Fm big spark kit and trigger wheel? Also, can anyone living in pa tell me if the after market Ic and intake would pass a visual inspection?

 

Im not familiar with the big spark kit. Is it wired as wasted spark? Does it use the same dwell time as stock? If yes to both, the likely fine.

The 36-1 will not work with the stock ECU. You’ll need to use the stock 4 tooth trigger wheel.

edit: as you likely know, the injectors won’t work well on the stock ECU either. Your car wil be crazy rich.
