Default Coolant spray

So I happened to be behind a motorcycle at a stop light. The light turned green and he did this crazy wheelie, and I decided to keep up and opened the throttle up. Well I suddenly get this hot sensation on my foot/pantleg. Sure enough, it's coolant. It only seems to spray when the car is under heavy load, and I'm not sure where it is coming from.

I'm guessing it's the heater core metal lines, but at the same time I would think that if that was cracked, it would be leaking constantly. My second guess is that it's spraying inside the cabin from the rubber lines that connect to the heater core, but it's dry inside the engine bay.

Any experience from this?

You have to ask FRT Fun about that one.

It's the car telling you it likes it that way.

I had a similar issue about two months ago. As a temporary solution we bypassed my heater core. What it is is your rubber lines are cracked and leaking under high load/ pressure. Replacing the lines should do the trick.

At least it's not a golden spray. I've never taken the heater / dash out of the car, is it like most heater cores and the only rubber lines are the ones going from the motor to the core, or are there additional ones in the dash?

Same exact thing, only sprays under load...mine wasn't cracked hose, but out of round tube on core.

Wow our cars must be on the same "cycle" cause this just happened to me. It finally gave out completely the other day. My metal lines going in and out of the firewall are cracked. Looks like you are up in canananananda so you will probably need to keep the heater core. As for me, it's coming out.

^^ probably, Mine happened on my third hard successive pull shortly after my new clutch. Between that and when my clutch was slipping, who knows what happened.
