Default crankshaft compatibility?
i have a 99 engine. can i get a crankshaft for 94-97?
or does it need to be a 99-00 crankshaft?
i did a quick search on t3h google, but didn't see anything definitive.

They are interchangable I think they are the same.

thanks. steve at planet miata said the same ---- (he thought so) and someone on cr also said they're interchangeable as well.

I have an 01 crank in my 94 bottom end. All 1.8 cranks should be compatible.
