Default dang AEM junk!!

Well, a few weeks ago I went to install a supposedly brand new UEGO just to find out the display gauge wouldn't work. Sent it off to AEM and they called this morning saying it was $54 to fix it. I asked what was wrong with it and they said the power wire connection was fried and needed a new connector. I told them to repair it and ship it back, do you guys think that's a rip-off?

Well,do you think you could have repaired it yourself?

If not, then $54 is not bad.

if it's brand new, shouldn't it be fixed under warranty or something?

Unless it was purchased on Ebay,AEM does not warranty anything purchased on Ebay, even if it was brand new.
