do you have a big radiator, cowl cover, or air scooper? Detail needed.
It was a one off type of part. I remember it!
The production piece we are looking at is much easier to make. So it should cost less. But yours probably looks alot nicer. Not that it is real visible back there..... but...
I posted new pictures on the web of some stuff that Larry and Corky have worked on over the weekend. I think Larry has tried to log on to answer questions, but there is an issue of some kind.

the issue is philip gets cranky. tell larry to click the link in his registration email for cryin out loud.
Have him try again, but urge him to not email philip. :gay:
link in email verification must be clicked. if it dont work after this
try a new account name.
Anyone else think it's strange that there's no front lip or mention of a pending front spoiler? For sustained 120mph running I would think that's mandatory. He's got the mud flaps though. That'll make him fast.
1 - The picture of the two radiator cores braced together is old. You can see a newer version of the set-up here: http://www.bellengineering.net/Image...r/P9192225.JPG
We separated the cores, placing one in front of the A/C condenser and the second behind the condenser and tilted to allow for a couple of SPAL fans.
2 - There will be independant splitters for each core and the I/C
3 - Overall increase in frontal surface area of the radiators is about 63% over stock
4 - Though not listed, I have added a Miata Type-R front lip spoiler from Trussville ($150, incl P&H)
5 - Additionally not listed is the differential cooler we started construction on this past weekend
More as it develops, provided I remain on the forum.

This is the stuff I like reading about. im not all about maximum power, ive decided on 200-240, but i want it to be efficient power, lowest strain on stuff that I can get, and maybe even some good gas milage thrown in there.
The main goal is to be able to run at 100+ mph for an extended period of time. So cooling and efficiency is key. It has the turbo, motor, and IC all capable of the big power. The turbo choice is for the thermal efficiency not power. That, and Corky just likes the T3/T4 hybrids.

Stephanie is mostly on target.
Primary focus is on thermal and flow efficiency. However, the turbo combo we have selected will easily put the car in the 240-250 rwhp range with headroom to develop 300+ keeping in the peak efficiency island of the compressor map. ( 350 should be obtainable with only a 2% drop in efficiency... )
I'm still debating on installing a variable boost controller. Figure "daily driver" setting at the 200 mark, road-racing at about 245 and then Bonneville at whatever power I need to hit 155 mph in 1-1/2 miles. -- All with the same components.

Well I can speak from a no-airflow perspective. I had my car on a loading dyno and just a couple minutes trying to tune 9 psi above 5000 rpm would send the water temp needle spinning like a stopwatch.

Any news on the final price?
Great job BTW. I'm happy to have one of your kits.
