After my last run at the autocross last sunday, the car decided it would not idle well, but allowed me to drive the 20 minutes carefully home as long as i feathered the gas at stop signs. Today while giving it a lil lookie, it looked like one of my injectors had a bad seal, so i replaced all of them and when I put it back on, tried to start and it sounded like only one cylinder was firing.
So i am inclined to believe that I have a bad injector, but before the injectors got a bit moved around, it started up like I had the AFM disconnected. The tachometer works, so it is not my CAS, and the plug wires and spark plugs are new.
Can anyone help me with this?

1.6 stockers. Also, I went out a little bit ago and was able to fire it up and while it was difficult to start, with a little throttle It fired up and sounded normal as long as i kept it above about 1500. hmm ... i guess this is why I have a daily driver.

will do, they could potentially say a lot about what is going on ... or nothing. I would assume that if a cylinder is running way rich it will be dark with carbon, or white if running lean right?

Lol ok i fixed the problem ... the stupid little hose for the Idle Air had popped off, probably in boost or something. Anyway, it started right up when i hooked that thing up. God i cant believe i didnt notice that right away. Thats good because now I can try to hook up my megasquirt after work today. Just reloaded the newest firmware and software so im crossing my fingers on that.
Man I had a similar problem. I was reading your 1st post and immediately thought one of the hoses flew off.
My Intake hose flew off at AutoXing. Not entirely, but enough for it to be not noticeable and cause the idle to be screwy... and off course no boost at all..

That same hose popped off on my car. It was my DD and I turbo'd it over labor day weekend and Monday night before going to work I tried to start it and it wouldn't run....that was a feeling I don't want to have again.
mine poped the broomstick i had stuck up in there as well i am having a simiar problem with my car but it believe it is do to my cheap *** reusing the intake gasket with abit of RTV FTL oh well live and learn gaskets are 1 time use unless it is the valve cover gasket that is
