Down pipe, 2.5"+ exhaust, bigger injectors, MBC, tuning skills, wideband. It concerns me that you're still constantly saying MSPNP.

Oh right you have the greddy to start with. If it's the stock greddy dp then you should be upgrading anyways to a 2.5" unit, but tentatively yes, you can keep the dp. I'm always of the assumption that if I replaced the turbo/mani it'd be such a completely different design that my dp wouldn't work, so I haven't looked too far into it. It's either the dp or mani flange that's completely different then the t3, and I wanna say it's the mani flange.

Money or knowledge. You can buy a bunch of parts but if you don't know how to maintain it/tune it, or you can't afford to hire someone who can, you aren't going to be able to make it work.

What a lazy, sorry, bastard the OP is.

We are a helpful bunch but we will not spoon feed you. Try actually reading a thread or two.

And to the rest of you, SOFT! All of you have gone soft! I can't believe you are so helpful and good-hearted. You must have gotten some sucky-sucky for Valentines.

Ok, seriously though. Buy and read the book Maximum Boost. Spend some time reading the stickies and the longer discussion threads around here.

There's actually nothing wrong with your Greddy turbo. Well, design-wise there's nothing wrong with it if you're only looking for 13-14 PSI on an otherwise stock 1.6 engine. Mechanically, who can say? For all I know you may have tried to pass BBs through it, but that's another issue.

Focus on the electronics. You need a Megasquirt, 440-465cc injectors, and a wideband O2 system. Oh, and a cheap laptop if you don't have one already.

Before you install all of this, bypass the wastegate on the turbo. Just disconnect the rod and let it hang open. You don't need boost for the first few days of tuning a new ECU.

With what, your new ECU, yeah, I don't think that'll matter.

Oh, you meant with a different turbo from a different manufacturer? No, probably not.

Where did you buy your ****? I've got a DIY autotune invoice in front of me for a megasquirt i'm building for another member right now and its 272.32 including shipping.

With the 64-pin ecu connector thats on its way its 282.

/threadjack before mister new mod abuses his power on me.
