Default Does my Flywheel need machining?

I am in the process of replacing the clutch on my 2001 6 speed miata. The flywheel that I have is in great condition with no scratches or blueing on the clutch surface. But the old clutch has worn a slight depressed area into the flywheel with a ~0.01in lip. The new clutch I'm installing is from SuperMiata and is bigger in diameter and so it overlaps this lip by ~1/8in all the way around. Is this a problem? Can I use the flywheel as-is?

I had trouble finding a shop to machine it. So I've ordered a new one from SuperMiata. Thanks for your advice!

Pro Tip: Brake rotor lathes can machine a flywheel just as well as any machine shop can. You can find these at most auto parts stores.
I have my buddy who works at O'Reilly auto machine mine down whenever I do a clutch replacement.
