Have you tried making a few passes on the hankooks? My car launches very hard on street tires. I'd be scared to put anything stickier on for fear of blowing up a tranny/diff/axle.

2nd gear burnout = win

Lose the front sway bar and use soft rear springs.

so your tires can come down further if the front end lifts this can translate into more contact and the ability to steer. Wich could be handy

Thanks ....

yes, and also more front lift = more rear squat = more weight transfer to the rear where traction is needed.

Mickey Thompson has a line of drag-slicks for 13" wheels: https://mickeythompsontires.com/drag-tires/et-drag . Probably the usual mass retailers (Summit and Jegs) sell them, Tire Rack, from what I gather, does not.

1 day short of a 10 year thread bump.

Yikes.

I didn't see the "2009", It looked like "2019", and the dates almost exactly matched. The gentleman had a quick, specific question - which after much banter, nobody else answered. I offered a specific, actionable answer... which led to negative reputation. If such are the logistics of this site, what are the implications?
