You must understand, its one or the other

 

Numbers are just numbers. I say race.

 

We've all see people blow motors on a dyno. Blowing it during a race would be way better. Plus you may not blow it anyways and could still dyno.

 

Also when you get your built block in and re-tune the car for more power/boost we'll want to see dyno plots then. seeing how it stacks up vs a modded z06 is more interesting

 

I love the idea of a MSM taking a Z06, but I honestly don't see it happening. I AM curious about how close it'll be.
I've not been in a C5 Z06, but I have driven/ridden in a C6 Z06, and it could really lay down the power AND it was much easier to modulate the throttle. My Miata is hopeless at getting power to the ground. :(

 

Im so damned pissed off now. I forgot that my first wastgate was stolen and thats the one that had the maroon spring i needed to up the boost. Im stuck at 25psi god damnit!

 

just take out the spring. stuck at infinite boost!

Switched to a turbonetics evo spring now at 26.2 psi and going now to shim this bitch and turn up the boost more. I cant wait to show you girls the video . I will say this: my brakes are slipping now trying to brake boost at this level and timing

This motor is seeing levels of sheer abuse and boost no other mortal stock block has seen without going BOoOM!
