I see alot of you guys use them, but my question is if I bought an ebay intercooler can I get away with no welding? just clamps and cutting of the pipes? I'm just looking to get away from the $600 begi one, cuttin corners where possible. thanks guys

yeah its possible, i assume you are buying an ebay IC piping kit and just want to cut the pieces to fit together via clamps...id rather weld them, but you can certainly do it with clamps

Come on Furian, it's easy.
For best performance, once fitting is installed on charge pipe and JBWelded, Dremel off the excess threads on the inside.
Maybe more pictures will help... some people are visual learners.

Drill hole, screw in fitting, JBWeld, stick something on fittting.
