Default eBay OEM body kit... will this work?

Okay so I have a 99 NB and really like the look of the 01+ sport bumpers. So as my luck would have it, there is a guy on eBay selling prepainted kits for what looks to be an alright price.

Just wondering if anyone knows if this will bolt on to my 99? Also, has anyone installed this kit before... looking to know if it is worth the $$$ or not.

Thanks soo much all and cheers,
Prospero

I bought a painted bumper off some seller in TX off ebay for my Prelude. Can't quite remember the one. Paint matched perfectly, looks great.

The 01+ front lip will NOT fit onto the 99-00 bumper.... they have 2 differnt shapes for the opening. The side skirts and rear accents will fit just fine though. Make sure to use the templates that come with them. If you want to get the 01+ bumper, you'll also have to get the 01+ headlights.

Hey all, thanks for the reply! I was stuck in Atlanta since Sunday doing some training otherwise I would have said something sooner.

I suppose that I'll look around for a simple replacement bumper cover and maybe find it pre-painted for a good price...

Damn, it's day 33 after being rearended and still don't have payment yet... bastard insurance companies!

Cheers,
Prospero

There was a local car that had an 01+ nose swapped to a 99/00.... it required the headlight housing as well.... Don't think the hood line changed though.

Hell, while you were in Atlanta, you could have gone by MazMart and looked at parts.

no clue, if that equates to slow, then yes.

It's 100% completely stock besides the corner markers.

All of the 4th gen preludes were H22 VTEC.

The Prelude before that one had either a H22 2.2 VTEC engine or a H23 2.3 non-VTEC engine.

My xgf had the same car, a 1998 Nordic Mist Prelude. I believe the early 1998 cars had an aluminum block too. She had a comptech and old "Skunkworks" coilovers on it. That ************ was a bad *** car, and hooked up hard for a fwd car.
