This morning when I got into the 90, the windshield wipers and the heater/blower motor would not work. I then drove over a bump about 1/2 mile down the road and both started working. Either a ground is loose or a relay or a harness. Anyone have any ideas where to start looking?

Also, my AC is shot. That is, it blows warm air regardless of if I have the temp on cool. There is plenty of coolant. I don't see any leaking as my coolant pressure has not changed in a year ( I check it). I think its time to replace the original compressor. How difficult is it to do that? I am assuming I would have to switch over to R134a.

 

Check all the grounds in the engine....

Also you might want to check the square fuse for the blower/hvac controls. Just to be safe.
