Ok people I have a 92 miata 1.6 turbo with megasquirt and 550cc injectors (aka rapper dans old miata) my problem is that I was out givingithella whilebackand my wastegate hose came off so I'm assuming I over boosted. After that it wouldn't start with the key. I pushed the car and it started and ran great no problem. I drove the car home about 50 milesand parked it. The next morning I went out and it started fine with the key. I drove the car and it wouldn't hit boost at all and was coughing on me and every cough it would blow out black smoke. I parked it and check all the ic piping it was fine. then I did a compression test, all cylinders were in the 180s. Tried to start the car and it wouldn't start, wouldn't even hit, just turned over. Changed the coil pack, wires, and plugs. The car started but missed really bad and black smoked unbelieving bad. I then changed the injectors,fpr,tps and, the cas. Stillno change. I don'tknow what to do now please help me with this.

 

Is your MAP sensor actually seeing manifold vacuum? This sounds like exactly what happened when my idiot friend ripped the line off with his foot while I was driving. Was running like 9:1 and it would refuse to go into boost.

 

I'm guessing something caused the wastegate hose to blow off, and it did more damage than just that. Check everything else, my guess is a massive intake leak somewhere. And check your grammar, your post is hardly legible.

That car has changed hands annually since rappadan sold it so I'm sure there is some small problem that has 4layers of ghetto fixes covering it up. Good luck.
