Default engine mount height question

will new mazdaspeed motor mounts raise or lower my engine compare to my 43K 15 year old stockers. my downpipe is seriously super close to my front subframe but i've gotten it to not contact unless making hard rights at low speed. if the new mounts lower lower my motor then it will be worse.

I would guess raising the engine would be the most likely scenario.

The mazdaspeed engine mounts lower the engine 1/4 inch.

mine were taller than my old worn mounts....so i guess that would put the engine higher.

there's some slop in the mounts anyway. you can get a little adjustment.

when the mounts are bolted in how much threads are left to play with? like if i shim the passenger side enough to bring the downpipe further away from the subframe on the drivers side kinda deal?
