Turbo Specialties...
Finally posts pics of the acutal kit, I guess they acutally want to start selling kits. Price is pretty competitve of the the GReddy kit. I look into one of these went I was first thinking of FI, but I couldn't find one bit of info. I think one or two members on M.net have the kit, but no one to my knowledge has shown pics of it installed. I liked to see the install instructions and more info.
Superior (compariable to GReddy):
This kit can be had for $1500-1600, the piping has me so confused. I don't see how it would work.
Extreme (2 addition injectors or SAPC for extra fuel):

there was a guy who installed it on m.net cant recall his name but he seemed happy with it. Ok found it mx5tunnerchalenge he hasnt been online for about a month i pm'd him and asked for pics and driving impresions his last post just said he was fast now and nothing more since.

yeah that was the guy, I saw a few of his posts. When I was looking for an entry level kit I came across it. But the lack of info or replys from the company themselves I shyed away.

Interesting... Looks like a superior manifold design to the Greddy, and I like the idea of a water-cooled Garrett. Of course I just installed a Greddy last month...
I notice they're located in CA- any word on CARB certification? I saw nothing about it on their website.

just considering how easy it is to plumb, and the fact that is shoudl extend the life and keep the oil slightly cooler in the CHRA, it's worth the minimal effort.

After looking around their site they seem to have a 1.8 kit for pretty cheap. I think I just might have to be a guinea pig for this kit. Now just to get a job and start saving up the money.

Scott I am considering it highly. I am still on the fence though and without a job it is just a thought for now.
The Z series is 1000$ more then base kit from turbo specities. I would probally go with the base kit then just do everythign else on my own. I just dont have the knowledge yet to do a diy and not completely mess up something as I have to use my car as a daily driver. Maybe if I ever see you again at an autocross or meet we can talk more in detail about it.

No it is not a must. Silly not to do it, but not required either. I plumbed mine where FM recommended, in series with the small hose going from the thermostat housing to the "mixing manifold" (radiator pipe going into water pump).

I hate to toot my own horn, but I was in the same position a few months ago you guys seem to be in now. Check out this thread.

It's seven pages long, but well worth reading every post in it. I go pretty much step by step, start to (almost) finish (discussion/theory/options) through every part needed for a nice and safe 1.6 8-9psi turbo kit, with 12psi just an eManage away. It will fill in all the gaps in your current knowledge. Lots of 1.8 stuff applies here too.
I think the kit Brain links looks OK at face value... but it doesn't include anything for spark or fuel (as already pointed out) except a regulator none of us have ever seen. A Bipes and Walbro/Pierburg are another $350 new...
The couplers look like cheap rubber and none of the clamps are T-bolt style, they're all screw style. The downpipe and intercooler piping look like cheap thin crap. There is way too much piping and coupling involved. The BOV looks like cheap Chinese knock-off Greddy ricer crap... on and on looks like cheap crap.
For the $1600, you could do way better than that kit including a Bipes and fuel pump by just being patient and sourcing stuff used.
For the $2800 you can pick up a used FM2 kit.
But it will be interesting to get someone to be the guinea pig for that kit... I've been wrong before.
