I think they should fit, don't know about HANS but I believe they are all FIA homologated
unfortunately they are $$$ I am sure
Ideally I'm trying to keep it under $1000 for a seat, roll bar and harness. So for the seat I guess sub $500.

I keep an eye out on Clist, but a lot of the stuff I find is always out of date or only has a year left on it's FIA.

From the NASA / SCCA forum threads about FIA cert on seats it appears after the 5 years is up they are still useable if you add a brace to the back. With the brace behind them anything 8855-1999 or newer is pretty much good for life - or until they change the rules.

Seat belts only buy new and make sure they have the most recent date on them possible. Belts are too affordable to screw around with.

What are you doing that might require a current FIA seat but allows you to use a 4 pt. roll bar?!?

Here's a great example of a high end seat for a great price on CL. sparco circuit racing seat

The stuff up here in Canada is Solo1 (time trials/time attack kinda stuff) and Hill Climb. Safety requirements for my class are a min 5 pt roll bar, FIA approved seat, 6 pt. and fire extinguisher.

I'll look into the brace thing, not sure if that will fly up here but you never know. We are governed under CACC rules which are based of SCCA with a few adjustments.

Sounds like fun. Keeping my fingers crossed that the brace might work for you. Would certainly save you a bunch of money to throw at the other stuff you need.

I have a pair of Corbeau Forza's and I'll agree. They're cheap uncomfortable ****.

Drove from KC to Eureka Springs, around Eureka Springs for 4 days and back.. It sucked, but they're okay. $200 for a pair mounted already I'm not going to complain too much.

Didn't want to start a new thread, was researching all of the threads on seats. It looks like I have decided on the Momo Start or Sparco Sprint 5. It appears that both are no longer being manufactured. The Sprint 5 has been replaced by the Sprint Speed or Sprint Speed 2 and the Momo Start replacement AFAIK is still unreleased.

Any feedback on the Sprint Speed 2? Prices seem comparable but no 5th strap hole. Are there any Momo Start 2007's left out there? Many sites say sold out.

Looking for a pair for the V8 car. 32" waist limit isn't an issue.

I wasn't aware that the sprint was out of production...

If you wait a month, Momo is coming out with an entire new seat line.

There are still some out there, but new production is all Speed or Speed 2, at least that's what I was told.

I talked to a shop today - they are saying mid-May for the new seats. I can probably wait until them and just install the stockers if I need to. The bad thing is he told me that they will all be sidemount, no bottom mount, at least in the Start-priced range. Bottom mount would be nice because they bolted up to the stock rails pretty well. I really want to see what they come out with before I decide.
