They are from 626's so are older than NA or NB gears, but are identical in design, and I have already confirmed perfect fitment with a trial install

I am trying.

I can get each set to anyones door for 85 ish but that would take 3 months, for a week or less it costs 135 a set.

I am still looking but options are few and pricey. What do you suggest?

Dann
Dann,
I'd be more than happy to send you the $385(ish) via paypal right now, just give me your address. I am in no real rush on my end, so 3 months shipping time is fine as long as it's guaranteed to arrive (eventually). Just let me know. Thanks

(fyi, your mailbox is full and won't accept pm's)

Implying that CR ricers have the monies for 3.3 gears.
Also
Implying they have the power to make 3.3 useful.

But I too am interested to see what the list for 3.63's looks like now.
I am sitting in a hotel in St. Louis waiting out this snow storm. When I get back home I can check on the list. Honestly though more then 6 are probably not going to get sent over just because cost goes up to get more then that by a third. I need to get in contact with people on the list and see how many will be dropping out due to the 3.3 GB.

Default I'd be interested in the 3.63 set

New to Miata's but the one I just got revs much too high on highway driving - where I will mainly use it.

Dann or Lars, is anything still happening on this? Has the past month just been a holiday disruption or is this basically DOA?

If this is dead, get in on a new set of 3.3 gears and be a boss on the highway.

whatever happened with this thread?

you do realise that in australia we chuck out 3.6 diff CWP so we can put in 3.9/4.1/4.3/4.7?

even wreckers don't offer any money for them - if you are being sold them for any money then you are being shafted...

dann has a **** rep in this country - something something group buy gone bad and even tho he took the money he blamed his mates next door for going out of business - no refunds to the victims in our community...

Nothing ever happened. Shipping ended up being way to much to make it feasible.

Do you not know of any AU parts sellers that would not want to take advantage of this? Seems like an opportunity for everybody to benefit.

Shipping them costs a metric **** ton. I really did spend a good amount of time in 2013 trying to get this going, had a good number lined up. Then when it came to figure out shipping it raised the cost to almost be about the same as just buying a new one in the US after all the paypal fees, shipping, actual cost of 3.63.

I sent a bigass holset turbo and some irtb bike carbs to NZ for $70 US and they got there in two weeks. I was sent a cast aluminum transmission front section (bell housing), four large connecting rods and pistons, main bearing support plate, 15 lbs. of engine block to transmission support braces and bunch of other miscellaneous parts via NZ post insured and it was $120 US. Based on that I figured there would enough margin for profit w/o jacking the price of these throw-away 3.63 R&Ps.

i will see who has any lying around and weigh it and see what it comes to fedexxed to the USA. paypal is free to send money person to person, but they screw you on the exchange rate.

our dollar is about 70 us cents. coffee shop workers earn more than au$20 an hour here, forklift drivers earn like $50. tradesmen earn about $100. if that tells you stuff about our economy.

We found that shipping to Australia was much cheaper then shipping from there.

I had ordered one and they got it from Japan. Maybe I'm the ******* that depleted the supply?

Now if only we could dig up all the NB non power steering racks for funsies.
