I guess that's not the original engine. She says it needs a harness to run but, it looks like a 1.6 motor in a 1.6 body, i wouldnt think it would need a new harness.

If you want to do it for fun, go ahead, but I think as a money maker, when you have it finished, you may break even.

Most projects cost you money so if i can come close to breaking even on it, i would be happy.

Parts car dude, don't even THINK about putting it back on the road.

You can easily pull a 500$ profit, maybe 1k with more work. Parting it out.

haha yeah, thats what i was thinking. This is what the girl had to say about the car.

"It's a 90', 94' M edition tan leather seats, M door panels, M 1.6L motor/trans. Its red, new tails, gay rims, purchased the new top about 6 months ago, needs M edition engine harness to run. Accidentally let that harness go with the M edition body when I sold it. The dumb *** kid sprayed the entire engine bay and head lights a gay *** blue. Hes not intelligent enough to sand anything down, so it may come off."

So who knows what is actually going on with the car.

I wouldn't try to put that back on the road in a million years. It looks like hell, probably requires more work then its worth. There's plenty of 500-1500 dollar miatas in much better shape.

yeah, you guys are probably right, but between a friend and i, we have 5 miatas so a parts car would be as good for parts as it would for money.

Fixed,

Most of us have been there, some of us more times then others. If you want a modded car, do NOT start with a shitbox.

Even if you are taking it down to the shell and starting over, a shitbox is no place to start. Very very few exceptions to this rule.

If you have the place/tools/patience/(ok neighbors or non existent ones) then pick it up as a parts car, obviously ask for less then 500$, even at 500$ you will make money, but unless you enjoy it, you are making little money for your labor.

I'd buy it if I had space, money and time...I would offer no more than $300 though.
And part the hell out of it for decent prices to help everyone out that needs parts.

That's a kick *** engine bay job.
They should have stupidity tests at 16, if you fail you get to do manual labor for the rest of your life. Like dig ditches with a spoon or something else useful.

Default seats

anyone else see the extremely cool modded steering wheel and the dual gauge pod in the back, on a side note you might have a little more than you think in terms of parts, the seats are from the 1995 M adjustable headrests very rare.

Ooooo...I missed that. Probably $300-500 for seats/door panels. A little bolster wear, but not torn.
