Got bored at work...took a few snaps

Like I said before, do some reading....and you'll see the miata was not built to be a "cute" commuter car. I know because I've read all the old articles time and time again.
If you know so much, why not use it for good. Why brag about this and that and bash someone else's car? You that unhappy? Seriously though.

Don't challenge me, you already lost.
your car is skyjacked and does look rice-a-riffic.
And as previously stated, our cars are no more "performance oriented" than a E30 BMW.
Obviously as someone with only performance in mind, you have a good grasp on why 18 lbs wheels suck, so you got them for 300 bucks. grats. So did the original poster. and I don't think he likes you saying his maybe 205's are the same as 185's.
They may actually be better with that tire packaging than your wheels. Probably lighter, won't change his speedometer readings, might actually have stiffer sidewall, a wider track and equal contact patch. Oh and will have a smoother transition between tire slip and grip.
Go read up on racing, if you are good you are constantly at the cusp between gripping a corner and tire spin with err on the side of tire spin. (go ahead and flame me for the last comment then talk to Michael Schumacher) Thanks for trying.

This man has it right.
I'm simply defending the mans car because you jumped on him for doing what he wants to his car, calling it ugly when you have no position to do so.
You're the one who got your panties all in a bunch because I said you were in the same position as he is by most peoples view.
Oh and there might be some spite in there from "drifter *** ****" type of comments.

yes, it's on stock suspension, i'm not a rich kid so i can't afford any suspension modifications right now...
this incident happened waay before i slapped those wheels on
i have to agree with you, it was too low, but i sent it to my friend who played with 600HP RX-7's and Supra's, he knew what he was doing... so i figured he would do me good, apparantly the IC mounting is a bit too low, and he welded on the brackets for it so there's not much i can do
What the hell...not what the cars are designed to do.
For that matter, they weren't designed to hit the race track. How many of you had to replace stock suspension and brake pads?? If you want to be so specific about what a car was and was not meant to do, then your miata is only good for good gas mileage in a "attractive" body, with the ability to put the top down and a comfortable but secure ride.
While I think the 0 offset wheels look silly on stock suspension or ride height, they are cheap and actually would improve the track qualities of a miata, and not the drift qualities.
You need a hard top...baddddd. otherwise. not bad for "bored at work" photos.
elesjuan...don't you also apply for ricey lights and tall aluminum wing, Mr. I roll on 17's?

You obviously know nothing about the car which you drive.

Buy it, Read it, Learn from it. Then maybe you might avoid a situation where your foot is deep down your throat.
I'm still waiting for you to tell me how track qualities will be improved on a car with +0 offset wheels that are 8" wide and have 185mm tires stretched onto them. If he had proper fitting tires on those wheels, it'd *almost* look good to me.
Call me a ricer and see if I give a ****, but everything I do on my car is 100% performance related. Do I give a **** if my wheels are 18 pounds a pop? Nope. Whys that you ask? Very simply because I think the power my car will be cranking out when I'm done will be more than enough. Oh, and those wheels are stock wheels installed onto a miata by Mazda, with the factory size tires. While the car they were issued to might be 9 years newer I really don't give a **** because I paid 300 bux for 5 of those wheels total.
kthanksbye.

as for the whole 17in wheel issue, it DOESN"T change my speedo readings like on his 17s.... and i've had a set of RH C5's before so the car felt like a complete night and day when i changed down by 1in wheels, the sidewalls are stiffer due to the stretch, so the car doesn't lean left and right as much.

Speaking of someone with no education in wheel setup... are you two totally ******* retarded, or just can't read?
Stock tire that was installed on my car when I bought it, 23.2" diameter.. the FACTORY ******* MAZDA WHEELS with FACTORY INSTALLED ******* TIRES 23.5". Oh **** me silly sideways and upside down!! %(*^!@#!@# ARMONDO, 1.1% is gonna get me throw in jail for speeding or odometer fraud!
GIVE
ME
A
*******
BREAK.
Cause you know the 3000 miles I've put on the car in the last like, 2.5 years is just totally off and going to kill the resale of my precious car.
You're right, I do know the value of extra weight on wheels and I don't give a ****. The car is more than powerful enough right now N/A to blow up the SO3s I just got mounted up anyway so what do I give a ****? Thats right, I don't. At least my wheels fit on the ******* car.
Monster truck? You know some of us have other adult like responsibilities and can't all live with mommy and daddy. If you'd like to pay my mortgage and two other car payments then I'll buy suspension for the car right now and have it installed this weekend.
I already said your car looked nice sans the drifto crap tires, thanks.

Why can't people just says the "I" in place of "It's" ?
I don't like it, is better than It's ugly.
I don't like rap, I like hardcore. I don't say Rap is for **** and hardcore is for real men.
I like the wizdom body kit (even if some find it rice) but I don't like the wheels that stick out. But you care what I like or not, it's not my car and it's not me who drive it.
Oh last thing, I don't like 17" on NA, because I find they make the car look like a toy and the fender don't enrob them enough the make them fit well. But who cares? Because I don't drive an NA with 17".

I dont see anything wrong with it? Looks nice...
Im sure if sit here and pick apart each other long enough everyone will hate each others cars cause its not like there own.
I think everyone just needs to run what they want. This way you learn for yourself what works and what doesn't. He may like the 0+ now and who knows he might be rocking 15"RPF1 next year. I've made lots of mistakes moding cars by just doing and not listening.. then I know what works in the future and what I like.

Yea, I have to agree. Everyone can do what they want and should not be criticized for their mods, whether you think they're tasteful or not. I just traded my old Motegi's for some new wheels that make Elusjan's look weak. I need to get better pics but here they are with a full tank of gas.

And to the OP, damn, that is a huge intercooler! Not a fan of the body kit, but at least you have something to fill up the mouth.
