Did you check to see if the diff housing cracked? Might have broke at the notch. Check the upper right arm between the mount and the housing.

well, lets just hope that it does come right out, he deff should worry about the clunking first.

Miatamaniac92, rotas are known to crack. id say just try not to abuse them for too long, and watch those dips and potholes if you plan on keepin the rotas bro. they are infamous in cracking, many honda, subaru, etc. tuners know to stay away from them.

but heres a couple pictures i found for proof, you really should upgrade to some stronger rims if you're beating on the rotas. theyd be okay as a dd rim but definitely should not be used on a track, any rotas for that matter (imo ill never trust them for anything.) granted there are good batches of rotas but its a hit or miss situation id rather not pay to put myself in.

plus, theyre knockoff evo regamasters

just lookin out for ya.
(send me a pm if you want to trade for bbs-made asa js1's that will withstand anything you throw at them. i have many reasons for wanting these, none include using them on my car)

Banks... stfu and gtfo unless you have had a rota fail on you personally! Many many many many people run rotas as cheep track or autocross wheels. All of those pics you posted have been around the internet longer than i've been banging hustler... Besides that you are shitting on the OP's topic.
Maniac... Get some 15x9 6uls and some of rharris's new flares! Do it, you know you want to.

i saw this coming from a mile away.

all i said was, they could fail, there have been instances of them failing. i know of no other company that has been complained to about cracking numerous times, nor of another company that has a bad rep for it. they are cheap casted rims simply put.

even some enkei wheels are cast but they wont break in similar situations, i have not seen it, show me it and i will change my mind.

i understand there are some good batches of rotas out there, im not a complete rota hater. like i have said previouslyif you would've read correctly.

i also said that its a hit or miss situation on them breaking or not that I, and i repeat.....I.....would not put myself in, IN MY OPINION. if you cannot read thoroughly what i said you are the one who needs to shut the **** up and get the **** out...

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

anyways, i am not shitting on the op's topic. i gave him advice about what he should do in MY opinion. if he wants to repair it, i gave him a link to some starter info on qp replacement, i also discussed hammering it out with another member. guess you didnt exactly see that now did you?

do not turn this into another rota hate vs rota love thread:

im not changing my opinion about them. i would never buy them. i would never race on them. "hit or miss situation i would rather not pay to put myself into"

i have a right to post my opinion just as much as you do. leave it at that.

Opinions are like ********, everyone's got one.

Banks one just stinks the most. You should wipe it and stop letting hustler penetrate and loosen it up all the time.

It's been all but proven that powder coating wheels is the quickest way to weaken them structurally due to the baking processes they have to go through, therefore I'm willing to bet that the reason so many Rotas fail is because A LOT of people that use them abuse their **** and are fans of powder coating **** because it's a "non-ricer" way of being a ricer and constantly changing wheel colors without ponying up the dough for nice wheels constantly.

and your mod list explains you could give two ***** about what happens to your motor. you're rocking a damn china turbo and have the nerve to talk about my common diy mods. what do you have to say about that cheap fake *** glued together turbo, accompanied with the shitty cast manifold? i hope the compressor wheel blows to bits and gets sucked into your motor somehow, if thats before your manifold cracks.

and 18psi, i could easily sit here and make gay ------ jokes too, its not hard to go back to fifth grade humor

lick a dirty dry hairy dick, you *** to mouth **** loving *** guzzling asshat. you approve now?

lol this threads funny

back to the topic, have you came up with the solution to your qp damage yet?

Many people on here rock chinachargers you ******* inbred. They are not all the same, and many have proven to hold up for long periods of abuse and perform decent.

You with all your cheap ******* dogshit modifications should be the last person knocking the "quality" of anything. Shut the **** up and turbo your car little bitch. Then maybe you'll have room to talk.
