Great deal on track tires!
only thing is sometimes clearance tires are old old old. really doesn't matter with all seasons, but could mean a lot with r comps if they've been sitting in a warehouse for a year or two.
Depends how the tire is stored as well. There should be a manufacture date on them. I had an OLD set of RA-1, when they still said they had a 40TWR. They might not have been as fast as a fresh set, but they worked just fine.

These tires are coming from Hankooks warehouse, not the tire dealer. I'm guessing Hankook knows how the store them properly.
The reason for the closeout on the z214 is a compound change that just happened this year. The 214's I received were current models until Feb. 08. No production date on them that I can find though.

You need to look at the DOT code on the side.
DOT code - All tires imported into the USA have the DOT code, as required by the Department of Transportation (DOT). It specifies the company, factory, mold, batch, and date of production (2 digits for week of the year plus 2 digits for year; or 2 digits for week of the year plus 1 digit for year for tires made prior to 2000)
