yeah, MUCH (30-50hp/tq) meatier working area of 4000-5000rpm vs. ten hp in the top end.

I talked to corky bell, and he believe the disco potato is the best choice at 240whp because of exhuast pressures. So its done, the turbo kit is ordered. Now I can sit back and wait.

Talked to FM and we concluded going 15 psi in a couple weeks with my 2560, built block, headwork, and 3" catback with no muffler....Aiming for a 260-270wheel hp on a safe tune. They said I wouldent need a bigger turbo unless i wanted to hit the 300+ mark

meh, I'll side with Corky Bell before FM. I know both are knowledgeable, but we all know who wrote the book.

the idea of less heat with a bigger turbo makes perfect sense....since we are dealing with WOT and full boost, you won't even know a larger turbo is in play when shifting.

+1 go big or go home, your motor will thank you when the compressor effeciency heats the air less per CFM flow.

yeah, but its been a few years. I bought it when I built the turbo bits for the jetta.
