Default Hankook RS2's back in stock

I know there are more track oriented minds here so I wanted to give the heads up after ordering my set. 225-45's are now available through edgeracing.

Do you guys advise the RS-2 over the RT-615?

They're roughly the same price in 195/60-14 but I was leaning toward the 615 because I've loved my old azenis 215s (which are now toast).

The 615s will be a little better autocross tire some say but they get a little greasy on the track. The RS2 will be a better tire for people wanting to do track days. The only reason i would chose the RS2 over the 615 in my case is because they're cheap and available in 225/45r15 unlike the rt615s.

I've never heard that before. Can you give us more details regarding your issues with ER or where you heard about the fraud?

I love my RS2's. I don't drive the Miata everyday but I like them as my everyday tire. Anyone else use them outside of track use?

I previously ran 205-50 RS2's and for my daily driver and thought it was pretty comfortable, not loud, and handled good in the rain.

SeanE. What part of NC?

My wife and I like the South Meck area, Ballantyne, Pineville. We have friends that live in the Weddington, Indian Trail, Matthews area and we liked it, but we'd like to be closer to uptown.

Another soon to be Charlotte member, welcome!

Nick, just keep an eye out on your statement for any charges, if you see any, call your CC co. asap and just get it taken off. You didn't use your debit card did you? I hope not.

Yup... moving up to some wider ones in the near future... the 195s don't hold the torque so well. They really are great feeling tires and grip far better than any other street tire I've ever tried. I have not tried the azenis yet though.
