Default Hardtop transport

I need to pick up a hardtop. Does anyone know if it will fit in the back of a Toyota RAV4? Thanks.

Toyota SUV data points:

1st gen RX300: interference fit
3rd gen 4Runner: tons of room

Based off that, I would confidently bet no on the RAV4

I fit one in the back of my mazda tribute, it was tight but I got it in there
Oddly enough they are wider then they are long so it's easiest to put it in sideways

I doubt that it will fit. I have a Highlander, had hard time fitting one in the trunk space without concerns for potential scratches or stress damage. I had to put it into the rear passenger space in the upright position. Rav4 is smaller, so....

I tried this morning and it will not fit in a RAV4. Thanks all!

You tried front-back, sideways, plus diagonally both ways?
