Default Help Mx5 will not run

Hi there, a couple of weeks back I was driving along the road fine until I noticed a bumpy/low idle at the stop lights. Whilst driving, everytime I had pushed the clutch pedal in, the idle would drop to completely 0 and stall but then bump start itself back up again. I took the car home, then the morning after I went to start it to check for any wiring problems but it wouldn't run. It would turn over, fire up but then immediately die 1/2 seconds later. After tinkering around, I unplugged the AFM (not unscrewing, pulling the clip off) and turned the key and boom! Success, the car would run and idle fine but then as I touched the throttle, it died. I suspected a fault AFM, so I bought a test working 2nd hand one, threw it on hoping for the best but no success.
I decided to hold open the flap inside the AFM and plug in the harness when the car is running. This worked but the idle was extremely rough and bumpy, it barely stayed alive!

I'm under the impression it's an electrical fault but not many garages around here will touch a turbo'd miata lol

Specs:

NA 1.6
Greddy kit TD04
MAP ECU
Running on "band aids"

Any help would be greatly appreciated, I've got a couple of videos that i'll try to upload for a clearer understanding
Thanks in advance
