We are rebuilding a high mileage track car. It was clear that it had a little minor fender bender because the hood looks like it has been bent to be straight. So we purchased another hood from someone parting out and it almost fits right. It seems like our catch/latch position is off. We have a perfectly straight gap on the driver side but then the hood sticks up a little bit on the passenger side. We are going to try re-positioning the hood latch this weekend.

Any suggestions on where to get official measurements of frame and other components so we can check for straightness by measuring?
