Default Hose Coil Spring Source?

I'm trying to find a place that sells the coil spring that stop the hose from kinking ala MTuned coolant re-routes. I went DIY and that's the last thing left.

McMaster doesn't cary anything under .25" gauge and I'm not sure where else to look.

What size do you need? 1.5" by 3/16" or something? Not sure what diameter you need for the hose.

Might help, right?

Coolant hose is 32mm ID, so 30mm or 1.2" should get the job done and not be too much of a pain to install.

Why don't you pick up the properly shaped GM hose and not use the spring?

I have one and am not happy with the quality and fitment so I went with silicone

Hmm, get a better one? Someone needs to find a silicone aftermarket piece for that item. I think it's a lower radiator hose for a bunch of trucks though, so I doubt anyone has used it.

I will say that I've done multiple track days, dyno runs, drag races, and street miles, and mine hasn't shown a single sign of wear and tear.

I'm fairly certain that you can purchase these at most auto parts stores. In some cases, you might need to buy an OEM-style hose which already has the spring in it, and extract it.

If I can find a spring to stop kinking, I'm planning on doing a write-up for the whole setup as an alternate option. I believe the silicone is the same used in the MTuned kit and it's specific for coolant. The quality is WAY above the Escalade hose. I have both.

Local parts stores don't have anything that isn't already built into a hose and I'm looking for something to run most of the length. Next stop is Home Depot/Lowes, but I'm not sure I'll have luck there with an option that doesn't rust.

hose clamps on the outside can prevent kinks as well...
