OH ****, cuz I posted, asking for stupid infos.
Nothing is wrong with wanting Takata belts. I'm sure they are nice belts. What you're catching **** for right now is not caring whether they are fake or not.

Wait I thought he did care if they were fake? Isnt that why he made the thread in the first place? To not get fake ones? Hell I'd like Takatas too! They are good belts.

Are they better than any of the domestic belts used in just about all pro-racing here in USA land?

Hustler doesn't eat cereal...but he DID just wake up and call his BREAKFAST a "white *** bitch" before devouring it.

i think what everyone is saying whitena is that a) you should have done a little research before posting and b) why would you pay for harnesses that are used and probly out of date when you can buy new ones in any color you want that are half the price.

OP...

I have spent two seasons looking for "nice" harnesses on the cheap.

If I could go back I would have just sacked up and gotten (2) brand ******* new G-Force latch locks for $140....super cheap and easy.

G-Force*Pro 5PT JR Latch & Link 2" Harness*-*SafeRacer

Or, if you have a little more to spend, go for 6-points, 3" webbing and cam-lock.

5 Pt Junior Racer Camlock Individual Harness Set

I've seen (and debated buying) single used Takacraps for the price of a pair of new top of the line G-Forces. Buying new means you're safer...regardless. You never know if someone spilled coke on a harness (seriously affecting integrity of fibers) and just cleaned it up well. You also get current SFI ratings for when you go on track.

AND YOU GET 2 OF THEM!

**** color matching...go for a god damn matching PAIR of harness you can trust your life with.

Buying a used harness from a shady vendor on ebay has to be the best idea I've heard in my life. We know you'll never be on the track though, so I guess its not that big of a deal. Hopefully you break your face on the steering wheel.
